Luxembourg is sending its largest-ever team of 165 athletes to the Games of the Small States of Europe in Andorra, marking a milestone for the 20th edition of the competition.

Luxembourg is sending a record delegation of 165 athletes to the 20th edition of the Games of the Small States of Europe, taking place in Andorra from 26–31 May. The national delegation, made up of around 200 members, set off from P&R Bouillon on Friday evening in six buses, with their arrival scheduled for Saturday at 3pm.

Not all athletes have to endure the near 16-hour journey – some, including table tennis players recently competing at the World Singles Championships in Doha, are flying in via Barcelona.

One athlete who was initially part of the delegation will not be participating: cyclist Charel Meyers was forced to withdraw after his team declined to release him for the event.
