Hailing from Sydney, Party Dozen are a two-piece noise machine made up of saxophonist Kirsty Tickle and percussionist Jonathan Boulet. Since blasting onto the scene in 2017, they’ve built a reputation for explosive live shows and a sound that’s impossible to pin down; think doom, jazz, hardcore, industrial and a lot more, often all at once.

Their 2022 breakthrough album The Real Work caught the ears of Bandcamp, Stereogum, Brooklyn Vegan and Australian radio, setting the stage for an international cult following. In 2024, they returned with Crime In Australia an album even more feral, focused and danceable, packed with “many dumb ideas” that somehow make total, noisy sense.

Expect face-melting sax riffs, pounding percussion and Kirsty’s unforgettable screams blasted straight through her saxophone and a tangle of effects pedals.

If you want to experience this wild ride at Rotondes, all you have to do is answer this simple question:
What instrument does Kirsty Tickle play?

Text your answer along with your name and email to our Today Radio studio phone on +352 621 52 5000. Good luck and see you there!
