Legendary English rock band Deep Purple clearly have a penchant for Luxembourg in the autumn, because this 31 October 2024 they’ll play the big stage at Rockhal. They most previously graced us with their cosmic blend of groovy guitar and heavy rock riffs in November 2019 and October 2022.
To boot: just as in 2022, Luxembourg audiences will once again get to experience the inimitable Jefferson Starship as their supporting act.
For the uninitiated, if this is remotely possible, Deep Purple is the kind of music required if a person wishes to ride across America on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. They are canon, they are guitar songs you learn at 17 and play forever when the occasion arises, and they are returning to Luxembourg to blow your mind.
And for a bit of local history: Deep Purple has the great honour of being among the very last acts -- although not the last last act, that was James Blunt -- to play the Grand Duchy before the pandemic.
