If everything had gone according to plans, we would currently be in the middle of the Expo 2020 in Dubai. However, like so many other events, the exhibition had to be postponed to 2021.

Doors will open on 1 October 2021 to be precise. The Grand Duchy will be represented with a pavilion, and preparations are already well-underway.

Last week, the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra (OPL) recorded 6 distinct pieces for the occasion, which play into the general concept of the Luxembourgish pavilion.

The idea is that visitors will hear the music while making their way through the exhibition. At the end, a highlight film on the Grand Duchy will be shown, which depicts the country’s history. A piece that has now received a musical score, thanks to the OPL.
