Their 2022 World Tour kicks off in Lisbon, Portugal on 28 September. Barely a month later, they’ll be visiting Luxembourg for one night only. The tour, their first in nearly five years, will culminate in a huge homecoming concert in Iceland’s capital Reykjavik on 25 November.
Sigur Rós are in the process of writing and recording their eighth studio album, the first since Kveikur in 2013. Founding members Jónsi and Georg Holm are joined in the studio and on tour by former member Kjartan Sveinsson, who is rejoining the band after almost a decade focusing on other projects.
