The year’s concert announcements are stacking up, but after 2 years of very little, it is no real surprise that many appear to be coming all at once.
Den Atelier’s Pond Eclectic series is another of those curios that sits between thought-provoking and crowd-pleasing, world music meets neo-classical, meets pop, meets electronic, all under the watchful eye, one would assume of Peppa Pig.

Peppa Pig is in town to entertain the kids and the giddy students of the Grand Duchy, before The Ultraschall Collective kick things off proper with their specially-curated Opening Party.

Yann Tiersen returns to Luxembourg after a number of incredible performances, including at the Phil and den A. Here Tiersen is expected to bring his trademark approach as he blends classical instruments with electronic sounds to a rapt audience, who may, may, be hoping to here notes of Amelie Poulain or Goodbye Lenin scattered throughout.

Many, many thousands of music fans will want to be here for this one. Tash Sultana is one for the most gifted guitar payers in the world, and to have her perform (again) in Luxembourg is quite a coup for this event. Most recent Crop Circles has rightly been picking up rave reviews. Expect a multitude of hands been waved in the summer air.

Tom Walker’s indie-electro-pop-folk stylings grace the stage in the penultimate of shows. Walker having won the BRiTs Breakthrough Act Ward in 2019 has gone on to wow audiences around the world with his heartfelt anthems - see new single Serotonin. He has plenty of fans here in the GD too.
9 September
He may have only been here in February of this year but the return of Fritz Kalkbrenner is a welcome one. It is Kalkbrenner’s task to ensure that the Pond Eclectic is brought to a suitable close. The Amphitheater on Kirchberg is a lovely little venue, especially as the summer son begins to slink low in the sky and those later afternoon aperitifs turn into early evening sips.
We here at RTL Today are very much looking forward to this run of shows, and we hope to see some of you there.
