This editor might be a bit biased considering Marteria is one of my favourite artists, but I have been to a couple of concerts myself and can attest that this is not a show to be missed. Even if you don’t know German, his deep voice will still convince you.
You may or may not know the rapper from his “Lila Wolken” track that landed him onto the big stages. Nowadays he is one of the most famous rappers in Germany. His songs “OMG!” or “Kids (2 Finger an den Kopf” are only a few examples of him dominating the top of the charts.
After numerous platinum albums and No. 1 hits, to countless awards and major collaborations, to a sold-out Ostseestadion in his hometown of Rostock - It’s hard to deny that years later Marteria remains one of the most important German-language artists of our time.
He is also no stranger to Luxembourg - his first appearance in Luxembourg was at the Food For Your Senses Festival in 2013 (yours truly obviously being there), followed by a couple of visits in 2018.
Five years later, it is about time for him to return to little ol’ Luxembourg.
