Having built their reputation through songwriting for Rihanna, Cher, Celine Dion and the Backstreet Boys among others, LP is well regarded for alternative rock anthems with punchy choruses. They attribute their success to being audacious and unwilling to “chicken out.”
Perhaps best known for the 2016 mega-smash Lost On You, LP has built up a huge fan base on both sides of the Atlantic with some 25.7 million monthly listeners/viewers and hundreds of sold-out shows around the world. LP’s unparalleled catalog has amassed over 3B streams globally and commands a sizable back catalogue and straddles seven albums to date.
LP is no stranger to Luxembourg having featured as part of the Wiltz Festival in 2022 and returns to the Grand Duchy to perform at den Atelier on 17 March 2024. Tickets are available here from 6 October.
LP also provided a guest view on Today Radio’s popular podcast Song 2 - where Stephen Steps Lowe argues that the second song on an album is that album’s best or most important track. Check that out here:
The sometimes provocative performer pushes past ‘mansplaining’ issues to then ‘personsplain’ their take on Song2.
Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for a special competition on Today Radio as the concert date draws near.
