RTL Today Radio‘s Melissa Dalton spoke with 2 of the organisers, Marius Hoffmann and Philippe Weitzel, on The Home Stretch about the event taking place on Saturday 25 February, and their own clubbing experiences that inspired them to pursue organising Paradiso.
Guy Gerber, with his unique style, has been at the forefront of the melodic techno scene for decades and Sasson, the French DJ and producer, who’s coming in hot from his first ibiza residency last summer at Lio, are both going to be playing on the nearly sold-out evening.
The organisers told Melissa that attendees should expect “good vibes in a club setting”, with melodic techno, indie dance and Afro House music and “nice light effects and a good sound.”
“We have groups of people coming from abroad for that night” said Weitzel, who himself is a popular DJ in Luxembourg’s music scene, highlighting just how much interest they have managed to generate for this first event.
On top of organisers of Paradiso Divine Nights, they are both working, Hoffmann in Luxembourg’s tech industry and Weitzel as a dentist, but both say they feel Luxembourg lacks this kind of events, and so when an opportunity came up, they grasped it and decided to organise this “first, hopefully of many” event.
They told Melissa that they have been investing into a big artistic installation made by an up-and-coming Luxembourgish artist that they are very excited about so make sure to listen to the full interview here on RTL Play or via the player below, to find out more.
