Luxembourg has a new band making noise on the alternative rock front. Pilot Light, the latest project from Ethan Carey, known to Today Radio listeners as the host of Drive Time with Ethan Carey, and to local audiences as frontman of Scian and guitarist in Leen, have released their first single “I’ll Show You Pain”.
The track is a punchy introduction to the trio’s sound, built on heavy riffs, sharp hooks and an emotional edge. Carey is joined by long-time collaborators Tomas Lenz and Luca Daresta, musicians with plenty of live experience who bring the same energy into the studio.
To mark the release, Pilot Light have also shared a video filmed across Luxembourg. It follows the band on the run from a gorilla riding a vel’OH bike, a tongue-in-cheek chase sequence that adds a playful twist to their debut.
Pilot Light have already appeared at Rock Justice Festival and Blues Express, and “I’ll Show You Pain” is the first chance to hear what they’ve been building towards.
The single is out now on all major streaming platforms.
