Summer's underground heartbeat returns as Congés Annulés kicks off at Rotondes on 25 July, promising intimate gigs, fresh sounds, and late-night vibes that keep Luxembourg buzzing well into the warm nights.
Summer in Luxembourg wouldn’t be the same without Congés Annulés. Every year this festival keeps the city buzzing with gigs that shine a light on underground sounds and lesser known bands in intimate spaces that feel up close and personal. The Opening Night at Rotondes on 25 July will set the tone for another season of discoveries and late summer nights.
Instrumental favourites Totorro return after a long break with their powerful, guitar-driven sound and new music on the horizon. Also playing are Ebbb, mixing techno, ambient pop and folk into something totally unique, and First Mote, a local duo bringing raw, riff-heavy jams to the stage.
When the live sets wrap up, the night carries on with an After at Rez-de-chaussée Buvette hosted by Luster Club, a collective known for sharing fresh, alternative ways to experience music and club nights. Aamar and Jeff Seven will keep the vibe alive with a mix of funk, soul, techno, hip hop and future beats.
