The musical marathon of the summer is back: Congés Annulés returns to Rotondes from 25 July to 22 August , with a different live concert every single night plus free shows, vinyl fairs, kid-friendly events, and a courtyard that’s made for long, easy evenings under the sun.

Celebrating its 15th edition, the festival once again blends a mix of international names, local favourites, and underground discoveries. The 2025 lineup is already looking packed, with performances announced from Sprints, Envy, Factory Floor, Anika, The Linda Lindas, Been Stellar, Totorro, Coilguns, Pick A Piper, Dame Area, Wine Lips, Sheebaba, Autumn Sweater, and dozens more.

Speaking on The Sam Steen Show this morning, Nic Przeor from Rotondes called it a "musical marathon" with something for everyone.
"We really do have a show every night this year", said Nic. "From punk rock to piano, it’s really diverse. You might have hardcore one day, singer-songwriters the next, and dark wave after that. You’re never bored and if you’re not sure what to see, just grab a drink in the courtyard after work and take it from there."

Among the highlights mentioned by Nic were:
Envy, legendary Japanese post-hardcore band signed to Mogwai’s label Rock Action, Factory Floor, a hypnotic, electronic live act known for their intense, beat-driven performances. Dame Area, Spanish dark wave artists who topped Pitchfork’s album lists last year. and The Linda Lindas, a high-energy punk band already familiar to Today Radio listeners.

Local names are also well represented, including The Cookie Jar Complot, UltraNothing, Lara Grogan, Autumn Sweater, Waffle Killers, and many more.

The month-long series also includes free shows, a vinyl fair, and a new show for children, a first for the festival. "We're really trying to expand the programme and make it as inclusive and varied as possible", Nic said. "Whether you're there for a big name or just want to discover something new, it’s a great way to spend your August in Luxembourg."

Tickets for individual shows and limited regular passes are available now at rotondes.lu. Keep an eye out though, a few more names are still to come.
