There’s a lot going on in the average Skip the Use song. All sorts of influences – punk, funk, electro, and more – intermingle with sizzling energy and signature style. Luckily for fans and intrigued rock-enjoyers alike, Casino 2000 have confirmed that the they will be performing there on 13 February 2027.
The band first found success with a hit single, Ghost off their LP Can Be Late, which released in 2012 and reached platinum certification. The group soon became rock ‘n’ roll darlings in France, earning their place in the country’s musical landscape and festival circuit.

Nameless World, a single from their 2014 album Little Armageddon, similarly shot up in the charts when it released. But by 2016, after a period of intense touring, the band announced their break up. All hope seemed lost for fans of Skip the Use – until three years later when they announced their reunion, as well as a brand new album called Past & Future, in 2019.
The French four-piece have since seen their unique style and sound evolve. Most recently, their 2025 single We Are Good showcases their innovative, multi-faceted approach: fusing razor-sharp rock sentiments with electro-funk overtones, the tracks is simultaneously uplifting and hair-raising.
On Friday, 13 February 2026, the band released a remix of their most popular song, Ghost, by Swiss DJ Mosimann. Whether this is a sign of Skip the Use returning to their roots, or whether it signals bigger and better things to come, is up for fans to decide.
Tickets are already available for their concert at Casino 2000 next year for €39.
Danceable electro beats, biting punk hooks, and a fair few leather jackets will be the name of the game on Saturday, 13 February, 2027 And chances are there’s more material from Skip the Use to come.
