Myles Kennedy took the stage at Rockhal on 18 November, in the intimate Rockhal Club.
He opened with the title track of his new album, The Art of Letting Go, a powerhouse rock and roll banger that instantly got the crowd going, and from that moment on, he had the audience in the palm of his hand.
With his signature jaw dropping vocal style, every note was packed with raw emotion, soaring effortlessly over his incredible guitar playing.
He made it look so easy, yet every riff and vocal run hit like a masterclass in rock.
Whether it was the tender moments or the full-throttle rockers, Myles delivered with energy and passion that was impossible to resist.
But what really made the night special was Myles’s personality. Between songs, he cracked jokes, told stories, and had the crowd laughing and cheering like old friends at a jam session.
His goofy, good-natured vibe brought a level of connection you don’t often see at a gig. For all his insane talent, he came across as humble and down-to-earth, making the massive venue feel like an intimate hangout. By the end of the night, it wasn’t just his music that won over the crowd—it was his whole personality.
Backing Myles were the absolute powerhouses Zia Uddin on drums and Tim Tournier on bass. These two were in perfect sync, locking in grooves that kept the songs driving and punching all night.
From tight, driving rhythms to delicate, understated moments, they were the perfect backbone for Myles to shine. Together, the trio created a sound that felt larger than life.
By the time the last note rang out, the crowd had well and truly been taken on a musical journey.
Myles Kennedy brought all his trademarks to the show: well written songs, excellent vocal and guitar work, and a connection with the crowd that made the night truly magical. If you were there, you know you witnessed something incredible.
