The Luxembourg Bach Association, in cooperation with the European Institute for Choral Singing (INECC), will host another edition of the “Bach in the Subways” festival on 21 March.
The festival was launched in the United States in 2010 to celebrate the birthday of Johann Sebastian Bach and to introduce the composer’s music to a wider audience. Since then, thousands of musicians from around the world have gathered each year to perform.
In Luxembourg, “Bach in the Subways” has also been organised for several editions in Luxembourg City. The 2026 edition will feature 52 mini concerts at 21 different locations , including in the Ville-Haute, Gare, and Kirchberg neighbourhoods.
This year, the festival is being organised in collaboration with the Luxembourg City Business Association, which is why several concerts will take place in shops. Additional performances will be held in churches and various museums. A full list of all concerts is available on the official website. Admission to the festival is free of charge.
