Rock band the Pretenders issued a last-minute statement on Wednesday announcing the cancellation of their show in Luxembourg due to medical reasons.
The news was announced on the band's social media and on den Atelier's social pages, shortly before the event was due to begin on 18 September.
In an official statement, the band said:
"We regret to inform you that tonight’s Pretenders show at Den Atelier in Luxembourg is cancelled due to an illness within the band. We are so sorry for the inconvenience caused. Thank you for your understanding. Ticket holders will be contacted shortly regarding refunds or a possible new date to which this concert could be moved."
