Young Luxembourgish musician Jean-Jacques Mailliet has been selected to write a piece of music to be performed by the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra at the official civil ceremony on National Day 2026.
The violinist and composer, who was born in 1998 and has launched a number of symphonic projects internationally, was chosen by a jury from 9 candidates.
€6,500 will be awarded to the composer for creating the piece.
