It was a night of stellar acts from an undeniably talented pool of Luxembourg-based hopefuls -- alongside some of the brightest stars in the Eurovision universe. Here’s a list of every performance from the night.
In a touching nod to the event’s past, this year’s contest began with every finalist singing France Gall’s 1965 Eurovision winner for Luxembourg: ‘Poupée de cire’
And without further ado, here are the finalists of the Luxembourg Eurovision Song contest! Starting with Joel Marques.
Vicky Leandros, the Greek and German singer who represented Luxembourg in Eurovision twice, was welcomed on stage. She delivered a beautiful rendition of ‘Après toi’ - the song that led her and Luxembourg to win Eurovision in 1972.
And Luxembourg proudly presented another past Eurovision winner, Anne-Marie David. She sang “Tu te recconaitras” which made Luxembourg the winner of Eurovision on the same year that they hosted the competition in 1973.
This time Vicky Leandros was joined by Alexander Rybak, the winner of 2009’s Eurovision Song Contest. We are led to believe that, possibly, this performance was completely off-the-cuff and not necessarily scheduled, which is part of its magic.
The audience demanded accordions and got them, from this hometown band that brought everyone to their feet.

Ruslana sings her 2004 Eurovision winner for Ukraine (‘Wild Dances’), while Katrina and The Waves (UK’s last winning entry for Eurovision, from 1997) brings ‘Love Shine A Light’ to Rockhal. Next up is Alexander Rybak performing ‘Fairytale’, his 2009 winner for Norway. Charlotte Perrelli closes the group with ‘Take Me to Your Heaven’, her winning entry for Sweden’s win in 1999. a rendition of her 1999.
