RTL Today
After an entire year without any events, Den Atelier finally announced their first live show: Selah Sue at Parc thermal on 24 July.

Since the new Covid laws allow an easing of restrictions on gatherings, activities in the event sector are slowly starting to pick pace. Den Atelier announced their first live concert of the summer, with Belgian R&B, soul, and reggae musician Selah Sue coming to Mondorf-les-Bains. Doors will open at 7.00pm, and Herr Bender featuring Edsun will be the starting act of the night.

The new CovidCheck system will be in place, meaning that a maximum of 1,500 people can be present without masks, social distancing rules, or the need to remain seated. The concept was organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Health. In an interview with RTL, Michel Welter from Den Atelier expressed his excitement over the perspective of organising events again. For the time being, no inside events have been scheduled.

On Sunday, a small-scale party celebrating the relaunch of the sector took place at Den Atelier nevertheless. Prime Minister Xavier Bettel, Minister of Health Paulette Lenert, and Minister for Tourism and for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Lex Delles were also present. Hopes are that by the time of the first live show, people will have grown accustomed to the novel CovidCheck system.
