Cast your vote!Read and listen to children's stories written by...you!

RTL Today
In celebration of International Children's book day, our team members read our favourite reader submitted short stories!

Saturday 2 April marks International Children’s book day, and what better way to commemorate the holiday than by reading original stories written by you!

A few weeks ago, we sent out a call to all authors and aspiring authors, asking for original short stories, perfect for International Children’s book day!

The rules were simple:

  • The story had to be between 200 and 300 words in total;
  • It had to be original;
  • And (of course) it had to be aimed at a younger audience.

We were delighted with the sheer amount of submissions we received from our RTL Today readers from Luxembourg and abroad! The RTL Today team members each selected their favourite story to share.

Whether you submitted your own story or are simply here to celebrate the holiday with us, we hope that you enjoy the (somewhat) curated selection of stories below. Don’t forget to vote for your favourite story!
