The space, which is typically used for television production, was transformed by production company Samsa Film into a filming location. Its numerous screens and technical installations provided the backdrop for an important scene featuring actors Sarah Kunert and Philippe Thelen.

The production is part of Lazarus, a new six-part spy comedy directed by Max Jacoby. The series consists of six 30-minute episodes and is set to air exclusively on RTL in 2027.

A household name in Luxembourgish cinema

Behind the project is Samsa Film, one of the Luxembourg's best-known production companies. Founded in 1986, the company has produced nearly 200 films, television series, and documentaries, many of which have been screened internationally. Its best-known productions include Capitani, Superjhemp retörns, and Marginal.

Bernard Michaux explains that great importance is placed on authentic sets in Lazarus, with real locations are favoured wherever possible. Just a few minutes on screen require hours of work and the involvement of a large crew.

While viewers will have to wait until 2027 to see the finished series, filming is already well underway behind the scenes.
