5 - MINIONS & MONSTERS
The yellow agents of chaos are still hanging around, this time unleashing monsters while trying to make it in Hollywood, with Christoph Waltz, Jeff Bridges, Jesse Eisenberg, Allison Janney and Trey Parker among the voice cast. It may not have opened as spectacularly as previous Minions outings, but this remains one of modern animation's most commercially formidable franchises.
4 - PAW PATROL: THE DINO MOVIE
The pups meet prehistoric problems after landing on a mysterious dinosaur island, where Mayor Humdinger's antics inevitably threaten absolutely everything. Mckenna Grace, Terry Crews, Jennifer Hudson, Snoop Dogg and Bill Nye join the voice cast - because apparently even dinosaurs need celebrity friends.
3 - THE END OF OAK STREET
Formerly known as Flowervale Street, David Robert Mitchell's sci-fi adventure stars Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor as parents whose suburban neighbourhood is ripped from reality and dumped somewhere considerably more dinosaur-filled. The It Follows director teams with producer J.J. Abrams for a wonderfully odd mixture of family drama, survival movie and prehistoric mayhem.
2 - THE ODYSSEY
Christopher Nolan, Matt Damon, Homer and an absolutely ridiculous supporting cast continue their conquest of the box office. It's now passed $1.35 billion worldwide, overtaking Deadpool & Wolverine to become the highest-grossing R-rated movie ever - and Nolan's biggest film to date.
1 - SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY
Still sitting very comfortably at number one, Tom Holland's latest Spider-Man adventure has become an outright box-office monster, with Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Mark Ruffalo and Jon Bernthal joining him. It's now blasted through $2 billion worldwide, becoming Sony's highest-grossing movie ever and only the eighth film in history to reach that mark.
