From 24 May until 3 June, RTL is showing 2024 Cannes Grand Prix winner All We Imagine As Light, a film directed by Payal Kapadia, and co-produced by Luxembourg.
The film was one of the standout favourites of last year's edition of the Cannes Film Festival and was produced in collaboration with Luxembourg company Les Films Fauves and financially supported by the Luxembourgish National Fund for Audiovisual Production Support.
A joint production between India, France, Netherlands and Luxembourg, the film earned glowing praise from audiences and jury alike and took home the "Grand Prix" award.
All We Imagine As Light premieres tonight at 8pm on RTL Play, with english subtitles, and will be available until 3 June.
Synopsis
Set in Mumbai, the film follows the lives of nurse Prabha, whose life takes a troubling turn when she receives an unexpected gift from her estranged husband, and of her younger roommate, Anu, who tries in vain to find a spot in the city to be intimate with her boyfriend.
One day, the two women decide to take a trip to a beach town, which allows them to find a space for all their desires to manifest.
