The winners of the awards, organised by Design Luxembourg, were announced on 1 June, the prize winning designs will be exhibited at Rontondes until 4 June.

The ceremony was held at the Rotondes and saw a record 270 projects submitted by nearly 90 entrants.

Winners were selected across 11 categories, based on criteria including design quality, creativity, relevance, innovation, sustainability, and eco-responsibility. An international jury, led by Julia Kahl of Slanted Publishers, evaluated the entries.

Kahl praised the exceptional quality of the submissions and the challenging task of selecting winners due to the high level of creativity and skill displayed by the designers. She also highlighted the fascinating and rewarding debates the juries had while selecting the winning pieces.

The aim of the Luxembourg Design Awards is to showcase the talent and innovation within the local design community.

The awards resulted in 6 gold awards, 13 silver awards, 3 jury prizes, and a special mention for eco-design.

Notable winners included Julie Marthe Hoffmann of FF and YO studio for Mobilier Rotondes, who's project won a gold award in product design as well as a special mention for Eco Design.

The award-winning projects will be on display at the Rotondes until 4 June in an exposition organised by Design Luxembourg as part of the European Design Festival.
