In collaboration with the Foundation for the Exhibition of Photography (FEP) and the New York Times, Cercle Cité Luxembourg is presenting an exhibition of award-winning photography.

Hard Truths: Photographers of The New York Times is a prize-winning photography exhibition that has been presented at Sotheby's in London, Paris Photo, Photo España, and Summerhall in Edinburgh, to name but a few recent venues and events.

The exhibition consists of 60 photos by five photojournalists who work for the New York Times, devoted to capturing stories, moments, people, and events that "will stop our comfortable daily routines for a moment and recognize that our own humanity hangs by a thread; and that through awareness and understanding we can reinforce that thread."

Curated by William Ewing and Arthur Ollman, the exhibition will open at 6pm on Wednesday 21 November at Cercle Cité. Ollman will be present at the opening of the exhibition on 21 November, and will, alongside Whitney Richardson, global events manager for the New York Times, provide a guided viewing of the exhibition at 12.30pm on Thursday 22 November (in English).
