Comité Alstad is offering a special and unique present idea for the upcoming holidays: an exact replica of an 1890 map of Luxembourg City.

Map enthusiasts, take note! Jean-Pierre Biermann, an architect and historian born in Clervaux on 15 December 1842, created many guides and maps of Luxembourg City during his lifetime.

For the Christmas holidays, Comité Alstad is offering an exciting and unique purchase: the group will be selling facsimiles of Biermann's map "Plan de Luxembourg en 1890" in the same dimensions as the original (49x52cm).

The original will be available for viewing at the MHNA (national museum of history and art).

Those hoping to purchase a replica of the map have the following options:1. €30 for those collecting the map in person,
2. €35 if requesting that the map be posted to you,
3. €320 with a wooden frame and anti-reflection glass,
4. €380 with a silver antique frame and anti-reflection glass.

To order the print, you can send the cost of one of the above options to the following bank accounts: BCEE IBAN LU64 0019 1755 0897 0000, Post IBAN LU02 1111 0080 8736 0000, or BGL BNP Paribas: IBAN LU19 0030 7564 6694 0000 with the communication Stadplang 1890.

If you choose to collect your map, you can do so between Monday 3 December and Saturday 8 December at the Comité Alstad's new headquarters on 14, rue Sigefroi, L-2536 Luxembourg between 9am and 12pm.
