The official opening of the Art Week and the CAL Salon took place Friday evening. And the winners of the Pierre Werner award have been revealed.
Roland Schauls and Sandra Lieners were awarded for two of their works.
Roland Schaul was recognised for his artwork „Windstille“. It is the second time that the artist receives the Pierre Werner award.
Sandra Lieners was awarded for "Settembre".
Both artworks are currently exhibited at Tramschapp.
The €2,500 Pierre Werner Prize is awarded every two years for an artwork exhibited during the CAL (Cercle Artistique de Luxembourg) Salon.

The CAL Salon at Tramschapp can be visited from 10am to 7.30pm this weekend, and between 2pm and 7pm from Monday, 12 November to Thursday, 15 November.
Art lovers can also visit the international Art Week, which runs in parallel with the CAL Salon until Sunday evening, 6pm, at Hall Victor Hugo.
