Numerous lanterns adorned the streets of the city of Wiltz, including the Grand-Rue to the amphitheatre, turning it into a fantasy world for one night.
With numerous classic and exotic lanterns, adorned with anything from dragons to animals, as well as a series of artistic dance and theater performances, the 11th edition of the Nuit des Lampions (Night of the Lampions) was a great success.
The event attracts thousands of visitors each years. The first edition dates back to the European Year of Cultural Heritage in 2007.
