Looking to pass on your knowledge about this tiny Grand Duchy to other people? Why not become a guide for one day?

The capital’s main attractions are undoubtedly the casemattes, the Grand Ducal palace, and soon enough also the yearly "Schueberfouer" fair, which will see plenty of tourists coming to Luxembourg.

Visitors come to explore the Grand-Duchy not only from the neighbouring countries but also from far away corners of the world such as Japan, Scotland or even New-Zealand. Tourists often go on longer trips through Europe or combine a brief trip to Luxembourg with their holiday in one of our neighbouring countries.

After the "Guide for one day" programme proved to be a huge success in 2017, it will now go into its second edition and will take
place over a longer period this summer, namely from 30 June to 15 September 15.

The "Guide for one day" programme especially targets visitors who have recently settled in Luxembourg and new arrivals as well as everybody who is interested in authentic and original tours held by volunteers and Luxembourg enthusiasts.

There are several other ways of discovering Luxembourg’s rich history. For instance, the Luxembourg City Tourist Office offers guided visits through the old town with explanations in English, French, German or Luxembourgish. Another possibility would be to ask for advice at the "Ask-Me-Programme" where visitors can ask for directions or timetables.
