18 artists took part in the mini-golf exhibition that opened on Thursday at Rotondes, in which visitors get to take on a more active role.

Former professional golf player Johnny Miller once said "Golf is 90% inspiration and 10% sweat". A very fitting saying for this particular exhibition, just opened at this cultural site which was once a railway maintenance facility between Bonnevoie and the Gare area in Luxembourg City.

The Rotondes culture centre has been part of Luxembourg's cultural scene for over 10 years. To mark this anniversary, organisers asked a number of artists who had previously displayed their work at Rotondes to send in their ideas for an artistic mini-golf course. The artists were free to design their works - on the condition that the mini-golf course is actually playable.

The result was a functioning, artistic mini-golf course with reinterpreted rules. While some golf holes have a classic feel to them, the course includes several rather spectacular interpretations.

The opening was on Thursday and the exhibition titled "18" will be open to the public until the end of August.
