RTL Today - Luxembourger photographer Marc Wilwert: Depicting albinism, exhibition in Cologne

The photographer from Luxembourg will display his works from International Albinism Awareness Day (13 June) until 15 June at the K49 gallery in Cologne.

The title of the exhibition is "Sonnenschatten: Fotografien zum Internationalen Tag der Aufklärung über Albinismus 2018, 13.06.2018". (Shadow of the sun: Photographs for the 2018 International Albinism Awarenews Day)

The photographer understands his work as an homage to the three people depicted in his work, who all have the rare condition of albinism. Using light, he shows the subjects of his pictures as "light personified".

Wilwert's work will be on display from 13 June until 15 June in Cologne, at the K49 gallery.

Opening hours are 13 June, 2pm and 14 and 15 June from 10.30am to 7.30pm. The artist will be in attendance.
