MUDAM's creators market
The MUDAM (Museum of Modern Art) is hosting again its creators market (Marché des créateurs), where product design, textiles, illustrations, and jewellery artists will showcase their work. The event offers a unique opportunity for the public to meet designers and discover their innovative creations. It could be a great opportunity to buy a unique gift for someone (hint: Mother's day is on 10 June). Postcards created in children's workshops will also be on sale with proceeds going to charity. To cater to people's appetites, food trucks will be present and the cafe in the museum will be open. The market will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 6pm and entry is free.

International contemporary art fair
Following the success of the first three editions of the international contemporary art fair, the organisers have decided to host the fourth edition at Luxexpo - The Box.
Over 200 national and international artists will present their work, including paintings, sculptures, photographs and much more. The fair is a unique opportunity to meet talented artists in person, especially as some rising talents will be present. The international contemporary art fair will take place 1-3 June.
"The best of movies" concert
In celebration of their 150th anniversary, the Philharmonie Municipale Diekirch will be performing a "Best of Movies" concert in Luxembourg City's Philharmonie. They will perform famous soundtracks from many films, including Star Wars, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Indiana Jones. The music will also be synchronised with corresponding film scenes. "The Best of Movies" will take place on 2 June.
Abstract art exhibition at Villa Vauban
The Villa Vauban is showcasing its abstract art pieces. The exhibition will feature work by Lucien Wercollier, Théo Kerg, Joseph Probst, Roger Bertemes and Luc Wolffin five individual spaces. The exhibition "sheds light on a significant part of the gradual evolution of abstract art in Luxembourg, which in some cases returns to its figurative origins." The essential link between the artists is the Nouvelle École de Paris which had a decisive influence in Luxembourg in the 1950s. The exhibition begins on 2 June and will run until March next year.
13th edition of the Flamenco Festival in Esch
The 13th edition of the Flamenco Festival in Esch starts on 1 June and lasts until 12 June. The programme includes five performances in the Esch Theatre and in the Kulturfabrik. The festival will also include workshops, a photo exhibition and Luxembourg City's Cinémathèque

Churches open weekend
Finally, 59 churches and chapels in Luxembourg will be opening their doors on 2 and 3 June to showcase their cultural heritage. The highlight is a guided tour of the Sanem St Catherine church on 2 June at 3pm.
