Around a week after his departure from Strassen, Stefano Bensi is set to take over US Rumelange from the summer, the second-division club announced on Wednesday.

From next season, Bensi will return to US Rumelange, where he previously played between 2006 and 2009. The club shared the news on its social media channels. Only about a week ago, it was announced that the former Luxembourg international and UNA Strassen would be parting ways.

For Bensi, this will be his third managerial role, following stints at Fola Esch and Strassen. He will continue to be assisted by Veldin Muharemovic.

With four games remaining, Rumelange currently sit in fourth place in the table, still fighting for promotion to the BGL Ligue. They trail league leaders Etzella Ettelbruck by five points.
