At the latest Regio Meet hosted at the Coque, Luxembourg's reigning Sportswoman of the Year, Patrizia van der Weken, once again showcased her prowess by surpassing her own record from 2022.
On Saturday, van der Weken crossed the finish line with a time of 7 seconds and 17 hundredths, shaving off 4 hundredths from her previous indoor record.
The Luxembourg national had set the initial record in Belgrade in 2022.
In the 60-metre final, van der Weken outpaced German track and field athletes Allegra Hildebrand and Karen Rückert.
