Marc Haentges dead at 58

Haentges had established a prominent presence in the national basketball scene during the 80s and 90s, showcasing his skills as a player for teams in Ettelbruck, Bertrange, and the national team. In 1992, he achieved the title of champion together with Ettelbruck Etzellea. However, he was also recognized by his peers as the proprietor of a prominent sports shop in Luxembourg.

Tragically, three weeks ago, he succumbed to a fatal accident when he was struck by a car while cycling.
