For the second time, over 50 women ranging in age from 7 to 60 years old gathered at Boy Konen Fields to explore contact and touch rugby, forge new friendships, and enjoy the beautiful outdoors on a gorgeous May day.

The Minister of Sport, Georges Engel, joined forces with Jean-François Boulot, the president of the Luxembourg Rugby Federation, and Paolo Tarakdjian, the President of the Rugby Club de Luxembourg (RCL), to demonstrate their support.

Representatives from the Luxembourg female national team, as well as members from the Belgium national touch team, were present to assist in introducing the girls and women to a safe and fun approach to rugby. Dan Fahy, from Touch Luxembourg and RCL Touch, was also in attendance, bringing his expertise and enthusiasm to the event.

Not only did the participants have the opportunity to practice various drills, but the day ended in touch rugby games and even beach rugby!

The essence of this day can be captured by the words of one attendee who expressed, "This was one of the best days of my life. I love how friendly, welcoming, and inclusive everyone is."
