The traditional Easter race is the biggest event of the year for the Athletic Club of East Grevenmacher (CAEG). Anni Wolter and Jonas Kinde won the 2023 edition of the 10-km-race.

Weather conditions on Monday were ideal for a road race. The CAEG and its 220 active members organised the 45th edition of the traditional Easter race, which simultaneously functions as an internal championship for members of the police, army, and customs authorities. Just like every year, a number of German runners also participated.

Jonas Kinde was the first man to cross the finish line and Anni Wolter was the fastest woman in the race.

Aside from the main event, there was also a 5-km-race, one for youths, and three different ones for children. A total of 550 runners participated across all races, which is close to pre-pandemic numbers.

The next big event organised by the Athletic Club of East Grevenmacher will be the 'Moselle triathlon' on 30 April.
