Over 1000 matches and more than 1 million video views

The RTL Sport Live Arena is the premier digital platform that broadcasts live streams and match replays of all major team sports on rtlsport.lu, the RTL app and on PostTV (channel 93). We have featured matches of the two top football leagues, along with ladies' and men's matches of the LBBL, handball ladies' and men's top leagues' matches and the top leagues of the ladies' and men’s volleyball.

Since its launch in mid-2021, the number of matches and spectators in the RTL Sport Live Arena has steadily increased. 67 automated cameras with integrated scoring have been installed in the halls and on the pitches across the country to guarantee fans a virtual and complete overview of every game day.

Top matches of the season (August 2021 – June 2022)

Around the pitch, on smartphones, computers and televisions, fans cheered on their teams, culminating in 1,217,425 video views throughout the season. Football still remains the main attraction, with many other sports continuing to attract more and more interest from viewers.

For football, the match between the 3rd and 1st of the championship tallied the most views in the Live Arena. The match between CS-Fola Esch and F91 Diddeleng was viewed 9,019 times.

In women's basketball, it was not the final but the quarter-final that drew most people to the Live Arena. The match between Residence Walfer and Basket Esch recorded 1,450 video views. In men's basketball, the highest number of views was scored in the semifinal between Basket Esch and T71 Diddeleng. The match was watched a total of 3,837 times.

The title playoffs in handball, were the most watched matches for both women and men. The women's championship between HB Käerjeng and HB Diddeleng recorded 1,197 video views, while the men's match between HB Esch and d'Red Boys Déifferdang was viewed 1,899 times.

For ladies' volleyball, it was not the battle for the title, but the vital match in the playdown between Volley Bartreng and CHEV Dikrich that was clicked 750 times. For men, the game between VB Iechternach and Volley Bartreng was the most viewed, with a watch total of 949 times.
