Luxembourg's national men's handball team is moving ever closer to qualification for the 2024 championship.

Luxembourg's qualifying chances have greatly improved after the European handball federation banned the Russian and Belarusian teams as a consequence of the Ukraine invasion.

In pre-qualifying stages, the FLH team brought home a draw in their second leg match in Belgium. Due to this tie, the team now stand in second place for the two vacancies in the tournament, behind Georgia, but ahead of Cyprus and Bulgaria.

The draw for the qualification will take place on 30th March in Berlin.
