The latest member of the Luxembourg Field Sports Federation (LFSF) is the country's representative for touch rugby.
In a press release, Touch Luxembourg representative Nick Frank said “Touch Luxembourg is looking forward to playing an active role within the Field Sports Federation to support and grow all these great sports and so increase the active participation in sport in Luxembourg”.
Touch rugby is a low-impact version of the sport in which players do not tackle each other, but instead touch their opponents using their hands. Touch is the formal variety, with competitive leagues organised in various countries.
LFSF was set up in 2018 to represent sports which are newer to Luxembourg. It now counts camogie, disc golf, foot golf, Gaelic football, hurling, lacrosse, Touch and Ultimate Frisbee in its roster.
