Grethen improved his time in the 1,500 metre race while Rausch set a new record for 60 metre hurdles.
Charel Grethen managed to break his own record at the athletics indoor meeting in Metz.
He finished the 1,500 metre race in 3 minutes, 38 seconds, and 30 hundredths, thus improving his old time by 35 hundredths. Grethen finished the race in 6th.
Patrizia Van der Weken just missed out on a new national record in the 60 metre race. The sprinter won bronze after 7 seconds and 31 hundredths.
Victoria Rausch set a new record in the 60 metre hurdles race. She improved her old time by 3 hundredths.
François Grailet missed out on qualifying for the men's indoor world championships in the 60 metre hurdles category by only 3 hundredths.
Charline Mathias also won bronze after finishing the 800 metre race in 2 minutes, 4 seconds, and 94 hundredths.
Vera Hoffmann participated in the same race and, despite finishing 1 second after Mathias, improved her own personal record.
Both Vivien Henz and Gilles Weicherdeng were also able to improve their own times at the indoor meeting in Metz.
