Both Matthieu Osch and Gwyneth ten Raa are fighting for a chance to represent the Grand Duchy in Beijing.

The 2022 Winter Olympics are set to begin in two months. Matthieu Osch, who already participated in the 2018 Games in Pyeongchang, has a good chance of making the alpine skiing qualification. 16-year-old Gwyneth ten Raa is also closing in on the necessary FIS points to qualify.

Heinz Thews, technical director of the National Olympic Committee of Luxembourg (COSL), commented on the prospect of sending two athletes to Beijing: "It will be a complex logistical operation, but we are in close contact with the skiing federation, the athletes, as well as their parents. We will do everything to help further their careers."

Gwyneth ten Raa will find out in mid January if she has qualified for the Games or not.
