The mistake has however been rectified and the results now show that Drucker made over the finishing line as 43rd.
35-year-old Drucker was the only Luxembourgish cyclist to finish the 118th edition of the road cycling race Paris-Roubaix. For the first time in more than 20 years, riders were plagued with heavy rain and mud.
Unsurprisingly, some of the cyclists were therefore hard to identify after being covered in mud from head to toe, which is why Drucker, among others, was first missing from the official finisher list.
Fortunately, the mistake has been rectified since, which Drucker happily conveyed in an interview with our colleagues from RTL.
