This weekend sees Rugby Club Luxembourg kick off their season opener against Rugby Pforzheim at home at Stade Boy Konen, Cessange.
It will be the first official league match for RCL since the outbreak of Covid-19 and the eagerness to return to the action is evident.
“I’m really looking forward to the first match of the season. Having training back has been a blessing after the pandemic wiped last season off the calendar,” commented RCL’s Casmier Yandall, who has yet to make his Bundesliga debut.
“Now having a competitive fixture which brings the team closer against a challenging outfit will be bring us back a sense of normality and excitement as we prepare for everything rugby has to offer again.”
Under the watchful eyes of James Kent and Jonathan Flynn, RCL will be looking to start their season off strong and get their campaign under way.
Kick off at 3pm - Stade Boy Konen, Cessange
