The new Grand-Ducal law implementing the ENEPS reform will also come into force this Thursday.

At a press conference on Tuesday, Sports Minister Dan Kersch confirmed that government aids for sports organisations will remain in place for 2021. Like the previous year, sports clubs will get 20 Euros financial aid per licence.

What's new is the 50 Euro voucher parents receive when a child under 16 years joins a sports club. Further news concerned the position of sports coordinator in the municipalities. So far, three councils have filled this position and two have advertised it.

To further promote volunteering, clubs are being financially supported by the government. The Minister referred to a study done  by Lunex University.

A Grand-Ducal law implementing the reform of the Ecole nationale de l’éducation physique et des sports (ENEPS), charged with training sports educators and administrators, will come into force this Thursday.
