The swimmer now focuses his attention on qualifying for the following Games in Paris.

For the past five years, Henx put all his energy into the qualification for the Olympic Games in Tokyo. On Sunday however, the dream collapsed, much to the disappointment of the 26-year-old soldier from the sports branch.

Henx competed in the French national championships over the weekend, his final qualification chance for Tokyo. Unfortunately, the preparation for the big tournament was interrupted by two positive Covid-19 infections, as well as a concomitant pulmonary embolism.

Nevertheless, the 26-year-old is still keeping his eyes on the target, now focusing on the next Olympic Games, held in Paris in 2024.
