Dutch cyclist Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado won the race in Belgium on Sunday while fellow countrywomen Lucinda Brand and Manon Bakker came in second and third.

Majerus crossed the finish line with a delay of 2 minutes and 36 minutes. Lucinda Brand was meanwhile crowned as the grand winner of the world cup season.

In the afternoon, the men's race took place, which was won by Wout van Aert (Belgium). Mathieu van der Poel (Netherlands) came in second, and Thomas Pidcock (UK) third.

The race was the final meet ahead of the Cyclo-cross World Championships in Ostende next weekend, which you can follow live on RTL.lu.
