An international group of five juniors coming from Luxembourg via Germany, Luxembourg and Mexico, were challenged to their limits in the final round of the German Junior Golf Tour in Berlin.
Marie Baertz, Caroline Point, Lisa Steingrube, Andrew and Stefan Rojas played 72 holes over four days in adverse weather conditions, fog, heavy rains and gusty winds up to 50 km/h.
The Berliner Golfclub Stolper Heide welcomed 160 players aged 12 to 18 years old. They played 18 holes every day on a lengthy golf course over 6,511 meters for boys and 5,628 meters for girls in three age categories.
The five juniors coming from Luxembourg showed real determination and passion during the 72 holes played. The absolute commitment brought good results for all, particularly to Marie Baertz who finished in fourth place in her age category and to Stefan Rojas who finished 13 in his age category. Caroline Point finished 8th, Lisa Steingrube in 9th and Andrew Rojas in 17th.
A great tournament to finish the Junior golf season.
