Dylan Pereira finished the final race of the competition in Monza on the fourth spot, earning him the second place in the general table.

The final chapter of the season took place in Monza on Sunday. Luxembourgish driver Dylan Pereira had a 4-point advantage going into the race, closely followed in the general table by the Dutchman Larry ten Voorde.

After the qualifying round on Saturday, it became clear that it would be a difficult task for Pereira to maintain the title, as he finished on the fourth spot and ten Voorde on the first.

Right at the beginning of the actual race, Pereira managed to make good on his competition and advanced to the third place, while the Dutchman remained unchallenged at the front. Two accidents then occurred within the first lap, meaning that the Safety Car had to be deployed.

Pereira had his difficulties with the Frenchman Florian Latorre, who managed to hold on to the second position throughout the race. The final decision then came during the 10th lap, when Pereira moved back to his initial 4th position in the race.

In the end, ten Voorde secured both the title in Monza and that of the overall season. After his excellent performances throughout the season, Pereira was thus rewarded with being crowned vice-champion of the 2020 Porsche Supercup on Sunday.
