
After winning the first leg against Ferencvaros 3:2, the Young Boys Bern and Christopher Martins took to the pitch in the second-leg match in Hungary on Tuesday, with the Luxembourger featuring from the start.
A goal from Zesiger put Bern in the lead after just four minutes, before suffering two setbacks, with Wingo equalising at the 18 minute mark and Ryan Mmaee scoring the 2:1 shortly after.
The second half brought the game level with a goal for the Young Boys thanks to Fassnacht after 56 minutes.
Finally, Felix Mambimbi put the Young Boys back in the lead in injury time (93), which means they are through to the group phase of the Champions League. Luxembourger Christopher Martins was on the pitch the entire match.
